The prompt words and the #Inktoberchallenge has helped me to produce fun and unique artwork. This painting was inspired by the prompt word "rip". Forty years ago, who would have thought that we'd be buying brand new jeans with deliberate rips in them, all in the name of fashion!
I like painting my emus exuding confidence. This emu is filled with confidence while enjoying her fashion statement and all the birds around her, that are using bits of her broken necklace to rest on. This is a feel-good painting that brings smiles to faces.
