I love drawing and painting strutting emus! I remembered to draw this one walking the opposite direction. Is it something about being right-handed that I automatically draw everything going in a leftward direction???
I chose to use a limited pallet of colour because I wanted this painting to have a dominant earthy tone.
This painting is painted on Khadi Mill paper that is made from recycled cotton rags. It is approximately 20 x 20 cm.
