Under the back drop of Mount Wellington, Salamanca Market is a major tourist attraction each Saturday in Hobart, Tasmania. It started in 1972 with 12 stalls. It now has 353 stalls. You can see, taste, hear and buy a variety of Tasmanian products at this vibrant and unique market.
I have a stall at Salamanca Market and have painted a hint of my stall in my painting. Can you spot some of the emus?
This print is printed in Tasmania by Full Gamut on 310gsm William Turner watercolour print paper with archival inks. The paper has the same texture as the paper I paint on. No wonder so many people ask me if the print is my original painting!
