Spiky Bunk Beds - Playful Echidnas
Echidnas aren't wombats but I thought I would include this image on the page because it goes so well with the wombat images.
This family of echidnas are enjoying an afternoon siesta under the cool shade of a gum tree but they don't seem very sleepy!
The echidna has spines like a porcupine, a beak like a bird, a pouch like a kangaroo, and lays eggs like a reptile. They are a member of the monotremes, along with the platypus, an order of egg-laying mammals. They are a small, solitary mammal native to Tasmania and Australia. They are usually 30 to 40 cm long and weigh between 2 to 4.5 kilos. I love their waddle walk!
Spiky Bunk beds is printed on 310gsm watercolour paper with archival inks. No wonder so many people ask me if the print is an original because the colour and textured paper is of such high quality!
