I love drawing and painting strutting emus! This emu is a big fan of fungi. She loves mushrooms! Apparently emus will eat immature Lycoperdon and Bovista fungi if presented to them, but their diet mainly consists of seeds, native plants, fruit, grass, leaves and insects.
This painting is painted on Khadi Mill paper that is made from recycled cotton rags. Because the paper is made from recycled material, the paper may have some small imperfections, which I reckon adds character and authenticity to the painting. It is approximately 20 x 20 cm.
