Glorious Bulbs

I do quite a lot of urban sketching, which involves sitting outdoors, drawing, and sometimes painting, the view in front of you. Usually I draw cottages and houses, but this time because I was at the Wynyard Tulip Farm in Tasmania, I drew tulips. As you can imagine, I found the variety and the rows of different coloured tulips inspiring.  

This watercolour painting was painted on Clairefontaine 300gsm cold pressed, watercolour paper. It has my full signature on the back of the painting. The painting is approximately 15 x 19 cm. It is a one-off original and there are no prints made of it.
