I drew and inked these historic cottages in North Hobart, Tasmania, while sitting on the other side of the street. Firstly, I painted the background at home, then drew and inked it on location, and then painted the rest at home.
There were some Superb fairywrens flitting around while I was drawing, so I drew two in the top left hand corner.
This painting is on Clairefontaine 300gsm cold pressed, watercolour paper. It has my full signature on the back of the painting. The painting is approximately 21 x 29 cm. It is a one-off original and there are no prints made of it.
