Tote Bag Tickle my Toes

While swinging, a visitor arrives on the scene. Isn't it special when a butterfly joins you! This image, from my original painting, captures the cute encounter.

Wombats are marsupials that are native to Tasmania and the mainland of Australia. They are herbivores. Female wombats give birth to a single young in the spring. The young wombat leaves the pouch after about 6 to 7 months. 

I've seen wombats in Tasmania's wilderness many times. There's nothing cuter than seeing a baby wombat running. They are so cute! They are gentle animals and I try to capture that gentleness and calmness in my wombat art work.
